Used 2010 Volkswagen Jetta SE for Sale
Reviews for 2010 Volkswagen Jetta
This car is solid and well built. It definitely is a German car with very tight steering which you may or may not like. A really strange feature is that the fuel guage is one step from worthless. After filling the needle doesn't move for at least 150 miles. When it reaches 1/8 of a tank I can literally watch it move and shows empty in about 15 miles.
A solid switch
I was looking for something that had great mileage, dependability, good maintenance history, and a solid reputation, which bought me straight to Volkswagen. I first looked at the CC and compared it to my Jetta. My Jetta had all the bells and whistles the CC had, and better gas mileage. Comfort, style, engineering, and performance.....I am all about the Fahrvergngen!!! and so is Volkswagen, and they hit the mark with the Jetta.
Good car but...
This car is good but it leaves much to be desired. First of all, it only gets around 25 miles per gallon. Which isn't very good for a 2010 sedan. The starter also went bad very early on. I had it replaced and my new starter is now going bad. My window motor for the driver side window is also bad. The final problem I found was that you have to take all Volkswagens to a Volkswagen dealership to have the computer reset when you get an oil change, which is very inconvenient. All of these flaws aside, once you get the car started, it handles well and accelerates very quickly, which is perfect for merging into traffic. It takes corners like it's on rails, which is a great thing for those of you who aren't familiar with that phrase. The shiftable automatic transmission is also a nice feature that affords you more power when you need it. Over all it's a great car that's fun to drive but it has it's flaws like all cars; this car's flaws are just a lot more apparent.
