This car is solid and well built. It definitely is a German car with very tight steering which you may or may not like. A really strange feature is that the fuel guage is one step from worthless. After filling the needle doesn't move for at least 150 miles. When it reaches 1/8 of a tank I can literally watch it move and shows empty in about 15 miles.
Getting Better After ARough Start
2010 Volkswagen JettaHoward B - Upper Marlboro, MD12/04/2016
After a number of immediate repairs required in the first month following the purchase, the car has been a dependable performer.
The 2010 Jetta SEL 2.5 is a great value for the money. The fit and finish of this car is similar to higher quality German automakers. The 2.5 liter engine is peppy and build smoothly and consistently. The interior room is nice. I am 6'2" and found the drivers compartment to be accessible and roomy. The rear seat is roomy, but I would not want to sit in the back for long trips. Average size people will find it fine. Overall I believe the 2010 Jetta SEL is a great car for someone who wants German quality engineering and performance without sacrificing value.
