When the car is running, it's great, but there are so many issues that keep popping up. The tires need to be changed all the time because the wheels are out of alignment. The turbo has already broken down twice. The refurbished turbo that was replaced via warranty only has 3000 less miles than the one that broke down on us. We are not pleased with how the warranty didn't cover a newer turbo to replace the one that died on us.
This is one of the best cars I ever have in my life! I recommended 100%. We did an excellent choice. The volskwagen station wagon passat (komfort) is very spacious inside, good performance in long trips.
I am at about 1300 miles from the day of purchase and I really like this car. I picked the VR6 with 4 motion and it is really fun to drive. It was a good price for the year and had less then 30,000 miles on it. No issues at all so far. It has kick, handles really well and I love the interior and the navi. I also really like the seats and the room. I am 6'4 and I need room but did not want a really big car. It has plenty of room for me and my family with 2 car seats in the back. Good size trunk too. Already had it in 4' of snow and it got around great, even stopping right in the middle of a big hill and starting again. I didn't even spin the tires once. Highway gas mileage is good, city mileage is a little below average but I kind of knew that would happen given the VR6 motor and the AWD. Still learning the gadgets inside. The voice activation and the Bluetooth phone set up seem to be a little hidden away in the owners manual but I will find them. And lastly... It looks great with the 18 inch alloy rims and has really nice lines. So overall this was a great buy for me.
