Customer Review Summary for Volkswagen Passat
2012 Volkswagen PassatGreg Kahl - Elizabeth City, NC09/16/2015
Nice ride, responsive acceleration, and road handling. Plenty of bells and whistles. We haven't done an accurate mileage count per tank but we have driven it until the fuel light is on and we have reached 714 miles per tank. That being said all the miles have been split between highway and city driving...not to mention my heavy foot. Sorry it is just too much fun to drive. My wife now she babies it.
First Class Sedan with Great Fuel Mileage!
2013 Volkswagen PassatGlobal Networks - Colorado Springs, CO05/17/2016
When I purchased this car, I made my decision based mostly on the turbo diesel specification, and interior/cargo space. The ride comfort, sound system and interior controls were just an added bonus. After the first week of owning this car, I got a couple of fault codes which resulted in the replacement of a new turbo. Turbo replacement is common, and the folks at Volkswagen have me covered for free for 5 years/60,000 miles. Even during the fault codes, this car never left me stranded. I am a mechanic as well, so even if my vehicle would have been out-of-warranty, I would have replaced the parts myself and kept the vehicle.
On a full tank of fuel, I can easily drive 800 miles with about 30-40 miles to spare before filling up!
Fun & Sporty - Great Gas Mileage Too!
2012 Volkswagen PassatKathy - Saint Charles, MO03/10/2015
It is very roomy and the truck is HUGE. It is fun and sporty to drive and has all the bells & whistles you would expect from more expensive car. Has been great in the city and on road trips. It's my first Volkswagen, but I don't think it will be my last.
