VW "dieselgate", sluggish at the helm, leans in curves, no sound insulation in roof, which makes downpours sound like hail on a tin roof, sound system adequate bot not good, diesel engine not as quiet as gas engine at idle, suspension can be a little floaty over some dips in the road. Crummy Hankook stock tires make a lot of noise on coarse pavement. radio take several seconds to change channels so if you're cycling through stations you have spend a lot of time waiting.
Great Lower Price Alternative to "Luxury Brands"

I have owned two Saabs. The repair costs were always heavy duty. But I always loved the solid handling and the fact that you say up higher above the road than the luxury Toyotas and Hondas. The VW Passat handles like the "luxury" lines at a lower price point.
Great gas mileage..average 34mpg and has a range of almost 500 miles to the tank! The back seat is huge! class leading space back there, and the trunk is also larger than expected..it's a great family car at a great price...definitely worthy of buying..super solid and quiet at higher speeds!
