Burn your money

I have owned my passat since new. I love the performance and the look. I Believe that the quality is such that you need to trade as soon as your warranty is complete. The repairs are outrageous. I bought a VW not a BMW and the repairs start @ $1000 plus. That is not value, what you save on gas you will put back into your car 100 times over.

Loving my VW

Blue - Nashville, TN 10/03/2009

This car drives like a dream, looks stylish and has simplistic yet perfect dashboard controls. I love the 'leatherette' seats which have the look of leather with no maintenance worries. The wheels look cool, the trunk is humongous, and the back seats flip down allowing ease of transport of large items. Five of us were in the car last week, and everyone in the back seat was comfortable with space to spare. The front seats & dash are designed in such a way that you have tons of leg room. I'm 6'4" and have no issues with leg room/head room. Mine has built in satellite radio which is super cool. mmmmmm, what else? I'm extremely happy with my choice.

Hands Down The Passat Beats The Accord.

I bought a 2008 VW Passat Used, with a little over 22k on it. I have only own this vehicle for 3months but I have to say, It has stolen my heart. Prior to going to the dealership, I had my eyes set on a 2009 Honda Accord. Mainly because of Honda's reputation for making durable cars. I walked in with intentions of leaving with a Accord, Left in a Passat. In the end, I was happy with my decision. I test drove the passat first (Honda never had a chance). The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it was. ( I bought the Komfort edition with Leather seats ). Big nice sunroof, heated leather seats, very clean, and very simple controls; which is a good thing because I am a "Get in and Drive Kinda Guy". While driving, the interior was really quite, the ride was very smooth, and let me tell you...This thing can move!!! You can definately feel the turbo, this car was made for passing. Although it was fun to drive. At that time, I still thought I would leave with a accord...but then I test drove the accord. Again, the first thing I noticed was how uncomfortable the accord was compared to the Passat, and I also noticed how loud you can hear the engine even with the window's up. Regardless of the fact, I expected the drive to be faster. Sadly, that wasnt the case... Even though the Accord had 268 HP compared to the Passat's 200hp +turbo, The Passat clearly accelerated faster. Unless your in europe driving on the autobahn, I wouldnt recommend getting the extra horsepower, because I sure didnt notice the extra power, espcially with gas prices these days. After driving both cars, the only thing that stood out with the accord was how spacious the interior was compared to the Passat...Besides that, the accord seems lacking. This car is awesome. Everything from its classy look to its gas mileage. I get outstanding gas mileage for a car with turbo ( drove from ATL to Orlando with 1tank ). I love everything about this car and have no regret. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a Sedan.
