By far one of the best vehicles I've ever owned.. I bought it as a comuter. Didn't care for a civic which has about 140 horses. The additional 30 you get standard on here really makes a difference and I still get pretty good respectable gas mileage. I plan on keeping this car until the wheels fall off! It looks pretty sporty too..
Great car. Thanks to its size: easy to park /great to drive around in the city. Four doors and hatchback make it really easy to load up and go if you're a busy person with a lot of bags/stuff with you, which I am. Not quite as zippy as my old Jetta 1.8T, but I love VWs! Love the interior/dash design. Spacious back seat for such a small car. Good price, too, for amenities like sunroof and seat heaters ... security screen for hatchback area ... locking glove compartment, etc.
Fun for All

I recently traded in a my ford ranger pickup for a VW Rabbit. A big difference in cars I know but I was becoming a dad and needed a family truckster sort of speak. I bought a four door Rabbit and love the sportiness of the car. The rabit doesn't feel like a family car at all but can easily fit 5 people. It comes equiped with everything you might need in a family car and has a sports gear for the fun loving driver who needs a little get up and go. This is my first VW and I love everything about it. I would Deffinatly buy another one.
