I think this car is a good buy, it is very comfortable, very solid and also a great looker. The engine is very quiet, the only thing I have noticed is that the gear shifting is not as smooth as I would like and the gas mileage is not the best. The features in the van are great and easy to use. Overall I think this is a great family van and worth the money.
Don't do it
2009 Volkswagen Routanjjsmith - 03/23/2011
Nothing but problems since owned. 1st the sunroof leaked - gallons of water in the car and roof. Got it "fixed" it did it again. 3 times total had monsoon in front seat. Recalls galore - fixed for free though. Had snow tires put on and 3 tire sensors broke. Had winter tires removed and 2 more tire sensors broke. Each sensor is $90 so in past 3 months I have dished out $500 in new tire sensors. Had breaks done and had to redo the front 6 months later. The sliding doors have minds of their own and decide not to close on occassion. Some EGS valve is now shot. So by my 48,000 mile check up I am out thousands of dollars on repairs and now owe way more than this car is worth. I'm sure there is more that has gone wrong with it...I have just pushed it out of my mind maybe because it is constant.

Good interior, I like the still even though its chrsyler built but I hate the performance the vehicle not what I expected but its a 2009. The 2011 Volkswagen Routan is better comes with alot of packages, just wish I had waited.
