Great car at a great price
Great balance between handling, comfort, power and usability. If you want to drive it fast around corners it will do it, if you want a nice comfortable ride it will do it. If you need to tow trailers it will do it. It has loads of bottom end torque to get you off the line fast.
Love this car!
I purchased this 2014 model about 6 months ago and have little to complain about. The Tiguan is comfortable to ride in for both the driver and passengers. The cargo space is limited (in comparison to other small SUVs), but the Tiguan makes up for it in a multitude of ways, including it's style and great fuel economy. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a sporty crossover that drives fantastically.
Tough to beat the Germans for quality engineering
Drivability, quality and simplicity in the cabin. I'm sold on VW/Audi for best driving cars with simple, no nonsense dashboards and quality materials - all for a reasonable price with no repair sticker shock. Yeah, they cost a few dollars more, but they're worth every penny. Not quite a BMW (owned a 325 conv), but not that expensive either, and repairs are far, far cheaper. I own a GTI which I like even better. If you can handle it, reach for the Tiguan with the suspension options (for even bigger grins).
