Customer Review Summary for 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan
Great car, fun to drive!
2011 Volkswagen TiguanRemy - , 07/18/2013
This is my first VW and so far I think they've got a new customer for life. The car handles exceptionally well, has quite a bit of zip with the turbo engine and is very comfortable. In city traffic I'm averaging around 24MPG, 350 miles per 15 gallon tank. The all wheel drive really hugs the road during the heavy rains we've had lately and the visibility is great, the windshield wipers clean the entire view of the driver and the interior lighting and gauges have exceptional clarity. Great price, great car!
I love my new Tiguan. With the Turbo, it is very peppy and drives more like a sports car than a SUV. The cargo space is smaller than my last crossover, but I am not typically hauling a lot of items. The back seat does adjust forward and back, so more cargo space can be made. The interior looks like a much more expensive car and the Bluetooth, integrated jack for my iPhone, and multifunction display on the dash is amazing. And it is very comfortable. I took it on a road trip right after I purchased it. Typically after 6 hours, my back starts to ache a bit. Not in this car. I was comfortable the entire time. I didn't know about the Tiguan when I started car shopping. And I am so happy I discovered it on the CarMax lot.
