This car just glides if the road is smooth enough. You never get tired of driving this vehicle. Except that the cup holder is weak and parts are expensive, I would drive this vehicle for life time. I have driven a volvo that is a later year model and found that drive is not nearly as smooth. If you want a Volvo, buy an old one (before 2000 models).

I traded my ragtop 2 seater convertible for this one. I loved my 2 seater but I'm delighted that I made the switch. This car uis classy, comfortable and rides great. As all of the reviewers state....when I drop the top everybody stares in awe!!!! It's very cool.
I was definately not looking for a Volvo when I was shopping for a late model used hardtop convo but I'm glad I stumbled across this one!!!!!!
Gets it done

I bought this AWD Volvo wagon to replace a full size 4WD SUV. I knew I was compromising on size and ruggedness (esp ground clearance) but the mileage 18/25 sounded too good to pass up. My first trip was archery deer hunting where I got a ration of kidding from my hunting buddies about my new vehicle. Well. one day I did hit an impassable stretch for the XC70 that my truck would have made. This led to about a quarter mile walk I otherwise would not have had to make. Overall however, it got me 80% of the places a full size pick up would have gotten me, and farther than a 2WD truck would get. I did have to go a little slower as I didn't want to knock it around quite as much as my friends were willing to do. At the end of the trip I had averaged almost 25 mpg and spent exactly half as much money on gas on a 1000 mile trip as all my buddies. It made the kidding about my sissy car a lot easier to take!
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
