VOLVO C 70
The car is comfortable, but there is no arm rests. when driving the window rest is too high and unless the seat is all the way back your right arm has no place to rest. There is not enough power for a turbo. Starting off lacks power. Top end is better. The other thing you ought to know is there is NO spare tire. You can optain a spare tire kit and put it in yourself. But this cuts down on trunk space. If you can live with these few things you'll love the car.
A cool ride!
Love the car! Everyone watches the hardtop retract and ooh's and aah's! They all refer to it as a real transformer! The car is beautiful inside and out! It takes about 30 seconds to raise/lower the top. I was worried about acceleration due to the extra weight of the retractable hard top... but it's not too bad! This is NOT a GT Mustang - if it's strictly performance you want, this is not the car. If you are looking for a refined, luxurious drop top though - this car is perfect. It has a nice, smooth ride. Gas mileage is ok. Plan on the extra costs for premium gas The upgraded stereo with subwoofer is very nice, as well as MP3 connectivity and Satellite Radio. Mine also has the GPS which is very nice as well. Highly recommended!
Sweet as Sugar!
I LOVE THIS CAR!!! I named her Sugar because she'll take me to the sugar white sands of the Gulf Coast and she is a sweet ride! I wanted elegant and sophisticated but not overpriced & pretentious, so that's why I looked at Volvo. I have wanted a convertible since I was 20, but couldn't justify it with kids and a teacher's salary. At my age, I refused to get stereotypical "mid-life crisis" little red sports car and my Sugar is PERFECT! She drives like a dream whether the top is up or down. Putting the top down fascinates everyone, young and old alike. Men discuss the smooth procedure, women sigh over the ease, and kids call it "the Transformers car." Some reviews complained that the handling was slow, but they must have spaghetti for brains, because mine is as smooth as butter. You've got to drive it yourself to truly appreciate this car!
