This car is great to look at and drive. It is really 2 cars in one. For the Wisconsin weather the hard top convertable is the only way to go. Awsome heated seats and climate system. The pick up is acceptable and the T5 has enough power to do what is needed at the start or at 65MPH. The gas milage is good and I'm getting about 22 driving mostly around town and averaging 35mph. This car has all the potions and the sound system is superior to anything I have heard in a stock system be sure to get the premium sound system option. Since I bought this car in January I have only been able to drop the top once when it was 55 degrees. I can't wait until it warms up so the top can come down more often. One draw back on this car is it sits low and can be hard to get in and out of but you get used to it. The only other bummer is the Volvo nav system is not worth the money. The upgrade is $199 what the heck? Stick with the Garmin and you will be happier.
Wonderful hardtop convertible that is quiet with the top up or down. Silky smooth engine and transmission and plenty of pep. With the top up there is room in the trunk for my wife's wheel chair (a compact travel size model) and enough luggage for 3 people...but the back seat is a bear to get in or out of. With the top down access is great but only room for the wheel chair and two duffel bags. Best stereo I've ever heard with two factory sub-woofers. Navigation system is primitive at best; useless! I get 22 mpg in town and 31 on the hwy from the little 5 cylinder turbo-charged engine. She's a head turner, too. The top mechanism was designed for Volvo by Pininfirina in Italty and it's a marvel of engineering.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
