2009 Volvo C70R Anderson - Lake Oswego, OR08/17/2015
Great car for my wife and daughter to drive around town. The car gets reasonable gas mileage and has been trouble free in the 4 short months that we've owned it. We live in Oregon and I would have never considered a convertible but being a hard-top convertible you get the best of both worlds.
The C70 has been everything I expected. It is comfortable and fun to drive. It handles well and in the limited time I have owned this car I do not regret choosing it over a hard top convertible like the BMW or Lexus. I drove all three makes before making my purchase. Limited trunk space with the top down but this is true for all similar makes. The C70 does have more rear seat room than the others. Thus far no complaints. Although it suggests a higher octane fuel it does well on regular. The computer appears to adjust well and there is no nocking. Looking forward to better weather so I can have the top down more often. Quiet ride with top up and not too much noise with top down.
Sometimes even great cars are discontinued.
2013 Volvo C70Barton P - Saratoga Springs, NY08/08/2016
Superior engineering. elegant folding top. Trunk space! A rear seat people can actually sit in. Comfortable. Great fuel economy.
We've owned this car since 2014. We discovered it when we rented one for a couple of weeks in 2012.
Taking a two week "test Drive" we really came to appreciate Volvo's engineering and attention to detail with this model. You won't find big screens (or any screens) in this car. It's a drivers car. Handling is very predicable and as I noted braking is the best I've ever felt. With the top down wind buffeting is minimal. The 5 cylinder turbocharged engine runs on regular fuel and is designed to enhance fuel economy. Power is more than adequate for any legal driving. Highly recommended.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
