Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (3.5 reviews) I bought a new 2010 Volvo XC60 and was looking forward to many years with this car. I took it for regular maintenance at a volvo dealer and took very good care of it. it was fine while under warranty for 4 years/ 50, 000. The past year I have have had to spend over $6000 for repairs - rear differential broke, drive belt, power steering broke, brakes, electrics - it is as if the Volvo engineers designed it so that every major system would break as soon as the car was out of warranty. I am disgusted! It only has 60,000 miles on it and has been lovingly cared for and it has turned into an unreliable lemon! I will never buy a Volvo again. I do not recommend this care. unless you have a lot of spare time and money to waste.

The handling is not that responsive compare to other cars I have, but it runs more stable on highways at higher speeds. Large cargo space make it our preferred car for longer distance family trips.

Reviews for Volvo Crossovers

Overall Rating

4.6 out of 5(232 reviews)

Excellent vehicle, no surprises.

Tremendous automation and safety for a 2011. Auto-braking is great. Solid ride. Adaptive cruise allows for feet free driving in rush hour traffic. DVD in dash and 2 in front seat headrests for the 2nd row with wireless headphones. Free traffic on Nav system.

Volvo XC90

WE loved the car. The space is great for all 3 of our kids. It's very comfortable and handles nicely. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED that it has been in for repairs more time then we've actually owned it. The second day we had it I noticed problems which turned out to be both front axels and the front strut bushings. Everything needed to be replaced so we will see how it goes.

Car delivers great value!

In this price bracket, the XC90 packs a lot of features. The pilot assist is most impactful as it will self-drive up to 80mph which is a god-send during traffic. It's a great looking SUV, the interior is quite luxurious, very roomy and looks gorgeous as I get a lot of compliments from passengers. The air suspension and B/W sound system are practical must-haves. The engine power is adequate and mpg is as expected from a modern SUV. Cons would be road noise abatement can be better and the Sensus system can be a bit slow but at least Volvo provides software and maps updates. Overall, after a 2600 mile road trip, it's quite the trooper and shuttled my family in a lot of comfort and safety
