2009 Volvo S40Data Lady - Los Angeles, CA06/13/2011
I absolutely love my Volvo S40!
Ok, it takes way more money to fill up the tank then my little Honda Civic ever did and I average about 21-22 miles to the gallon around town and 26 HWY.
But driving it is easy. I feel safe driving around LA, and it even makes the bumpy LA freeway feel smooth and quiet. The handling is a breeze, and she has pep. I love the style too.
The only drawback is the seat adjustments. It is all manual. But that is a small issue.
Overall, I am super happy and confident that I made the right choice. If you are looking for something with a smooth ride and a great safety record then this is your car :)
It's been good to me overall, despite what others warned me about previously. Everyone told me that it would be expensive to own a Volvo and that I'd experience problems. My experience has not borne that out at all. The only expenses I've had have been routine maintenance (brakes, a headlight, new belt at 120K, etc). The styling is super cute and expensive looking. I get asked all the time about my "expensive" Volvo. So, it's definitely been worth it for the professional image that I like to project. :-) The car is small which makes it easy to get around town in, and easy to park.

This is not a horrible car. I choose it for its safety and it being economical. But its not that comfortable, low on the ground, no pickup and very loud. Though I think it's a cute car that's solid.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.

Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
