We have owned this wagon for little more than a month now. We downsized from an Explorer and it has been great. The car runs well, handles great and has enough room for all our stuff. The suspension and steering are tight and agile for a wagon. We took this car on a week long road trip and it performed splendidly. We fit in all our stuff, plus baby gear, cooler, beach gear, and still managed to average 30/31 mpg on the highway. Beyond the sporty looks, the safety and reliability of Volvo sold us on it. So far this wagon has been a great value and we are very happy we chose this over the larger V70.
Sophisticated, Yet Wonderfully Simple!

The "brain" of this car is incredible. Every detail I could think of is addressed; but I don't have to work through steps and silly lights/bells/whistles. The stereo/CD player has the sound quality of a very expensive unit. Unlike these [which I've purchased a few in my history], this isn't a complicated unit. A child could program & utilize all the functions. I love that the dashboard doesn't look like a NASA control center! And, very important: The a/c is great in this car. I've driven Toyotas, Hondas and Fords, and none of them performed like this Volvo. I would definitely recommend Volvo!

Besides the peace of mind in safety, this car definitely meets up to its standards. It is a luxury car without the price tag and has become an excellent addition to our family. The cargo space is very useful for transporting various items. We have already taken a couple long trips and it handles well and is a comfortable drive. The extra electronic capability was great to have as well. We were able to hook up our i-Pods and phones to the speaker system. On that note I also love being able to talk on the phone hands free with the Bluetooth feature. Our family loves this car and we will probably never buy anything but Volvo's from now on. This particular model is a great alternative to the anti-minivan mom.
