We've owned a variety of SUVs and crossovers through the years (RAV4, 4Runner, Jeep Liberty & Wrangler). So recently we decided to downsize our garage and get one vehicle to replace the RAV4 and Cadillac STS. We wanted practicality (AWD a must), safety, luxury, performance and reliability. The XC90 3.2 AWD fulfills all those requirements. The fit and finish is on a par with both high end Japanese and Cadillac. Comfort is superb -- the heated leather seats are a better fit and more adjustable than the STS. Safety and reliability are a Volvo tradition. Check with your mechanic about parts and service. Here is small town Western North Carolina it can be challenging. Premium gas is required, but it was on the Cadillac, too. We've received a number of compliments on the vehicle's appearance. Good value for a multitasking vehicle!
love this SUV. Gas mileage is great!! Alot better than my Acura 3.2 TL. Very roomy and great for familiies.
I needed a car that was not a minivan, that could passenger 6+driver, had leather seats, heated seats, awd or 4wd, sunroof. That only leaves about 8 possible solutions. The Volvo was my favorite, and it is possible to get 8 or 6 cyl. Mine is 6, plenty of power less gas guzzling. Car does have a few quirks that I was not familiar with, for example battery is located in the rear cargo area and if you ever need to get to it you need permission from Volvo, JK, but you will need a metric nut driver, also when I finally located the battery I found mouse dropping. According to the Internet, not saying its true, but this is a common problem with this car. Have not seen current evidence of mice, so I'm thinking it was from the trip across the pond on a ship. Otherwise, awesome car that I hope to drive for a really long time.
