Will I be asked to create a password if I use social sign-in?
Yes, in some cases. Certain CarMax experiences require a traditional password for security reasons and are not authorized to use social sign-in alone. If you access one of these experiences, you'll be prompted to set a CarMax password at that time. This may also happen if you try to sign in using an email that’s already connected to a CarMax account, but doesn’t have a password yet.
