The windshield wipers needed to be replaced; they were worthless.
Cost to Maintain
The valve caps were all corroded to the stems, and that meant replacing the stems (wheels off, dismounting the tires). An unexpected cost.
Styling
the convertible top didn’t retract as it should; a small relay switch had fallen apart. Luckily, the parts were in the trunk. Another unexpected expense.

Value
Paid a premium for a BMW because it was a hard top convertible. It has had quite a few maintenance issues, some due to the age and mileage and some due to the convertible top but we still love it. Hoping the bugs get worked out, if not we will not own it long because it gets expensive. Glad we bought an extended warranty!

navigating the dashboard allows for ease and simplistic maneuvering from screen to screen without taking your eyes off the road.
Cabin Noise
unlike other convertibles the cabin noise in the 430i does not make you think that "this is pretty good for a coverable", The cabin noise is a non-factor.
