Cost to Maintain

I kinda knew getting into the German brand it would be more expensive overall for repairs and service.

Power

The 6 cylinder engine really has great pickup for such a small car. Perfectly matched to the transmission. I very much enjoy the ability to change the power and exhaust output with the different modes: comfort is perfect for not bothering the neighbors. Sport allows the car to be more responsive and kicks up the exhaust note. I have owned several Porsches, Boxster and 911s and this convertible really is equal or better at a substantially lower price point.

Weather Versatility

We bought the car for its ability to quickly drop the top and fit into a very small carport. That versatility is fabulous. The trunk is spacious and not limited when the top is down, so that really helps. Love that it is a soft top.

Technology and Entertainment

I enjoy the apple CarPlay integration, something I miss with my other drive being a Tesla. I like also that it is wireless, so no need to plug in. The Heads-up display is also awesome, best in class.

Cargo Space

This is a small two-seater, with limited space. Candidly that is not a criticism as much as an observation. With a Corvette C8 you might get more room to store larger stuff, but the tradeoff is size and weight.
