No tie-downs in the back when the seats are down. Nothing to hold down cargo.
Seat Comfort
It has excellent gas mileage lots of leg room for my 6 foot. Husband plenty spacious for all my grandkids. AC in the front and the back so when I don't need it in the back I can turn it off. I can. Stow away all the seats, which allows me to carry large boxes, tools or lots of groceries.
Fuel Economy
25 miles per gal. and hwy 27-28. That means I do not have to fill up when traveling. 450-500 miles.
Cargo Space
The seats stow away lots of room behind driver's seat. And when the seats are up, you still have a trunk behind the third row.
Cabin Noise
It's not as quiet as other cars I've owned.
Technology and Entertainment
I don't like when it tries to drive itself, such as if you accidentally go over the line, it pulls you back and it seems like you're fighting the car to drive. Fortunately, my husband turned that off.I suppose it would be a good thing if you were tired and driving at night. I haven't. Fuel Economy
This is the only plug-in hybrid minivan on the market. It works as advertised.
Interior Space
3rd row seats fold flat, and when they are up, there is a nice compartment like a trunk. I keep one seat up in back so that I can place groceries etc in the compartment to keep them from sliding all over the vehicle.
Reliability
I have owned the car for only a few months, and it has only 20,000 miles, but I have already taken it to the dealer for a repair covered by warranty. Also, one time the seat heaters got stuck “on” due to a computer glitch, and I had to turn the whole car off and back on to fix it. Finally, I notice sometimes the transmission has trouble working with the battery when the vehicle is operating as a hybrid, and I can hear the gears “crunch.” I will be surprised if this car lives to 100,000 miles, which is disappointing.
Technology and Entertainment
The radio settings, seat heaters, volume, and many other functions are all controlled only by the console computer, not by single-use buttons (or in the case of volume, there is a volume knob that talks to the computer). When I start the car, I have to wait, sometimes 30 seconds or so, before the volume dial works! That means I can’t turn the music down if it hurts my ears, nor turn it up if it is silent. Same issue with seat heaters and steering wheel heat. 30 seconds doesn’t seem like much until you live it, but it is very annoying. Generally, the console computer is slow and prone to glitches, but native apps that take lots of memory (navigation!) can’t be uninstalled to streamline the computer.
