  It's our first hybrid, and the gas mileage is great On our 2200 mile roadtrip in August, we had about 25% of our miles were electric. The longer we drive it, the better our electric milage becomes. It does have plenty of power when you need it, too.

• Interior Space

  The cargo space holds more than it looks like it would. We travel quite a bit, with a dog, and we still have room in the back for more! The interior space is quite comfortable, plenty of room in the second row for adults. Haven't tried the 3rd row yet, we keep them folded down for the cargo space.

• Technology and Entertainment

  First vehicle for us with so much technology! Previous vehicle is a 2009, no cameras, no blind spot monitor, no fancy dashboard, etc.

Cons

• Reliability

  something happened twice in the 5 months we've owned it: it stopped running without much warning. The dashboard showed a message to "Pull over safely now". Luckily, we were still close to home both times. Took us a while to find out how to get it started, it involved having one foot on the brake and on foot flooring the gas, then pushing the start button. Not sure why it happened, perhaps it was because it had been parked on a hill overnight, but hopefully it won't happen again 🤞🏼

  Drives like a big truck. Transmission jerky both up and down shifting, and brakes are very sensitive. Overall ride is smooth and quite.

  the console controls all technology in the vehicle with ease. The 360 degree view while backing is very useful along with collision detection.
