• Ride and Handling

  It is so comfortable and safe. Tons of room and seatbelt for 7 ! Its awesome.

  only because it does not have a back up camera, otherwise I love my Flex

  It fits my family... and a few of their friends.

• Reliability

  The vehicle had a lot of miles on it when I purchased it. As a precaution, I purchased the extended warranty to cover any major repairs that might come up. So far, I have not had any issues. It's been very reliable.

• Cargo Space

  Once you get the hang of how the 3rd row works and learn to flip the seats so that the cargo area is flat, it has a TON of space.

Cons

• Technology and Entertainment

  The Ford Sync system is a bit quirky. When using bluetooth for phone calls and texting, occasionally, it seems to take an inordinate length of time for the system to recognize that the call has ended and return to the radio. Other times when voice texting, the system appears to engage but once you start speaking, you can tell that it is not working and then it disconnects from the text function. Setting up the Sync system is NOT intuitive at all in this particular model.

• Cabin Noise

  The car is a bit loud in while driving. The road noise is obvious inside the cabin. Also, the turn signal is very loud. The hand-free speaker does not seem to have any noise suppression. Therefore, it's not unusual to be speaking with someone in the car and have them ask, "What's that clicking sound?" "Just the turn signal."

• Visibility

  The hood is quite long and it takes some getting used to in terms of how far to pull into a parking space before hitting something in front of you or how far to pull into the garage. My teens are learning to drive and complain that it's hard to see out of. It does have rear sensors, but no front or side sensors.
