The plug-in hybrid lets me drive 20-25 miles solely on electricity and at other times the hybrid motor provides excellent fuel economy.

The batteries take up most of the trunk space. Only two smallish suitcases can fit in there. It would be a challenge for a larger family.

On the plus side, when the battery runs out, it becomes a 35 - 40 mpg hybrid car. Though I'm sure this is a bit of number-fudging, my full fuel tank reported upwards of 500-mile range on some days.
Ride and Handling
Some people might not like that the car is slower, but personally I like that it makes you a more defensive driver. The adaptive cruise control and lane assist are awesome. I used it everywhere, and I mean pretty much everywhere, even for non-freeway driving.
Technology and Entertainment
I used the Apple CarPlay everyday and was really pleased with the sound quality of the Sony speakers. Along with the aforementioned driver assist tech, cooled and heated seats were actually really nice and worked well.

Fuel Economy
The battery is nice, but you're only gonna get 18 - 20 miles on a good day, so it's ideal for shorter trips within that radius. Especially in colder months, the battery won't be able to get above 12 or 13 miles.
Cargo Space
Every review mentions it because the struggle is real: the trunk is criminally small. Barely big enough for a small grocery trip. I couldn't fit my child's stroller and don't even think about putting suitcases in there.
Interior Space
It's just not very big inside. For people above average height, it might feel claustrophobic.
