love it. Great car. 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5

Pros

  • Ride and Handling

Since this is not one of the con list, i'll mention it here. Needs a rear window wiper.

  • Fuel Economy

  • Seat Comfort

Cons

Excellent Electric Car 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Cabin Noise

Quiet at highway speeds. Wind noise is minimal.

    • Interior Space

For a modestly sized "SUV", the interior space for 4 is exceptional.

    • Weather Versatility

In cold weather, the interior warms faster than any other car I have ever owned. Even though I tend to keep the temperature to a low 66F (while using the heated seats) during winter months, the car warms amazingly quickly. Without any pre-heating, warmth is felt within a block or two of setting out from a cold start.

    Cons

    • Visibility

I agree with the common complaint that this vehicle should have had a rear window wiper. Water and dirt tend to build up on the rear window while driving in wet an snowy conditions.

    • Technology and Entertainment

The audio and speaker performance is very pedestrian. Sure, it works, but it will never "Wow!" anyone.

luv this car 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Technology and Entertainment

The car has so many electric features for safety

    • Power

      great take off power

    Cons

    • Cabin Noise

better quality interior materials would have made a quieter ride

Ionic commuter 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Ride and Handling

    • Value

    • Technology and Entertainment

    Cons

    • Value

Being a used car. Hyundai's free charging is not transferable.

    Great in-town car. 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Ride and Handling

      Safe and fun!

    • Cargo Space

Smaller car than Model S with MORE space

    Cons

    • Power

Charging issues bedevil some Ioniqs and Hyundai is desperately trying to ameliorate the problems

    Everything I wanted... 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Fuel Economy

so far, with much of my electricity coming from solar panels, I am spending about 20% of the cost of gas to "fill the tank" with electrons.

    • Interior Space

The footprint for the rear storage area is larger than a Mach e, which makes any trip much more practical.

    • Ride and Handling

Excellent ride, plenty of power when needed.

    Cons

    • Weather Versatility

No rear wiper, not good on days when the rain stays on the glass and us not blown off by the roof spoiler. poor design....

This car is so fun to drive! 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Interior Space

      Very roomy!

    • Cabin Noise

It is a nice quiet ride. No road noise or accelerating noises.

    • Styling

It looks really cool on the outside and on the inside.

    Cons

    • Technology and Entertainment

My apple car play stopped working after a few months- hopefully it will be an easy fix.

    • Weather Versatility

I do not like that it doesn't have a back windshield wiper.

    • Value

I am not sure if this has to do with value but it is definitely very expensive to insure.

Highly recommend 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

    Pros

    • Cargo Space

we live about a sailboat in the summer and and travel 2000 with our gear.

    • Cost to Maintain

      almost nothing to do.

    Cons

Love it 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

      Pros

      • Interior Space

        Roomy back seat.

      • Power

        Torquy off the line. Quick.

      • Ride and Handling

fun to drive! One pedal is good, I almost with there was another level but it's good.

      Cons

      • Cargo Space

Other ev's found more room in the frunk and subtrunk.

      • Technology and Entertainment

The app isn't great and there is a delay in remote commands like lock the door or turn on a/c

      • Value

I think this car could be cheaper than the sticker price, and I benefited from the huge depreciation on the used market but it doesn't really feel like a $50,000+ car.

Enjoying driving this 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5

      Pros

      • Cabin Noise

Love gliding quietly along the road

      • Value

Very cost efficient as long as you charge at home. The commercial fee based charging stations wind up costing about the same per mile as I was getting for my gas vehicle

      • Power

        Love the zippy acceleration.

      Cons

      • Dashboard

Don't like reaching over to the touch screen while driving

      • Cargo Space

The 'trunk' space looked bigger on the car lot than it really is once we put Mom's stroller in *or* one big dog.

      • Styling

No category for this in the survy, BUT . The manual is nearly useless; go to Youtube or the user forums for information about how to use this car!
