Pros

• Fuel Economy

  When you have easy access to lvl 2 charging, I think that an EV is a great second family car. Errands and daily commutes cost pennies. The 200 - 300 miles range (depending on weather and roads you take) is more then enough to keep the range anxiety at bay.

• Ride and Handling

  I mean, you are basically getting a sports car for a fraction of the price. There is always plenty of power available whether clearing intersections or merging to a highway. The low center of gravity makes you feel like the car is magically held to road even in the sharpest turns.

• Cabin Noise

  It is easy to forget how quiet the EV6 is until you sit back in a gas car.

  Good suspension and minimal road noise, fun to drive and handles well

  Fun and easy to use controls, carplay works great and I enjoy having it angled towards the driver as opposed to completely flat

• Fuel Economy

  More efficient than most EV's on the market in terms of mi/kwh

  Rear visibility is a problem, but backup camera more than makes up for it when parking

• Cargo Space

  Less cargo space than my '22 Ioniq 5, sloping fastback cuts down on space dramatically

  it drives great, and gets up to speed quickly but doesn't cost a fortune for all the power.

• Weather Versatility

  takes an extremely long time to defrost in the winter, even when I start the climate ahead of time it takes at least 20 minutes to warm up and defrost.

  Extremely quiet both from a road noise perspective and because of the lack of engine noise. Very well acoustically insulated.

• Cost to Maintain

  Because it is an EV, there's very little maintenance, so very low cost.

• Fuel Economy

  Very efficient so fantastic EV range.

• Visibility

  Rear visibility isn't great, but the 360 and backup cameras, the blind spot monitoring and cameras all more than makeup for it.

  High speed mountain passes works great. Rear bias makes it a lot fun but not uncontrollable.

• Value

  Buy it used and they are so much cheap, especially a fully loaded GTline. The GT may get more compelling in the future as a result too.

Cons

• Technology and Entertainment

  Nothing special and doesn't have the same list of locations as google maps so certain destinations are missing. The phone app via send2car is a great way to work around it. Android auto built in would have been better.

• Seat Comfort

  Best seats in the world? No. Wish they had more shape adjustment.
