Ride and Handling
Sharp and sporty handling while also soft enough to handle rough roads.
Fuel Economy
I can get around 25-27 in city driving and 33 on the highway. One road trip using state highways allowed me to achieve 40.8mpg over 3.5hours of driving.
Styling
Offers exceptional and mature looks reflecting a cross between old British sports cars and modern styling. Much less cutesy looking than previous generations.
Seat Comfort
After long drives, the seating can get quite uncomfortable. Recommend tilting seat back but that also requires the seat to be moved forward.
Cabin Noise
Cabin noise at highway speeds. It's a soft top at the end of the day.
Interior Space
Trunk space is adequate for its size. Interior cabin space could use some more practicality with the addition of more cubbies or pockets.
Ride and Handling
The MX-5 offers one of the most enjoyable driving experience of any car that I've ever owned. My first thought when driving it was that it felt like a street legal go-kart--not everyone's thing, of course. If that does appeal to you and you're looking for a high-quality, nimble car that's a lot of fun to drive, you'd love a Miata.
Fuel Economy
This car gets pretty good gas mileage, which should come as no surprise considering it's a roadster that has been meticulously engineered to be as light as possible and utilizes a 4-cylinder engine. It is intended to be used with premium fuel though, which does mean you'll be spending a bit more at the pump.
Styling
While not as iconic as the original NA Miata, the ND offers appealing, sporty styling. You will get compliments on your car, for whatever it's worth to you.
Interior Space
Adjusting to daily driving a roadster has definitely been a process. The limited cabin, trunk and glovebox space means that you will have to get used to trying to maximize how space-efficient you can be when carrying things with you. The small cabin also means that the car seats two people at most, including the driver, and people who are particularly tall will have issues comfortably driving or riding in it.

Very driver-oriented and connected car, light and responsive. Defintiely NOT a land yacht.
Power
Mazda has done a great job with the engine in the ND series, it has plenty of torque and power for its mission in life.
Reliability
Miata's have always ben known as simple, reliable cars. Hope for the same with this one.
Interior Space
It actually feels a bit smaller inside than my 1990 leg room-wise, but I fit fine.

Great maneuverability. Drives really smooth

I drive it like a racecar and I still average 30 mpg
Styling
Soul Red. Black leather interior. Curvy body. I love seeing it whenever I come outside, and it's a car I'm proud to drive around.
Cabin Noise
It's definitely not pin-drop quiet inside--but that's also not why you bought this car. I'm always blasting music on the bose sound system, so I don't think cabin noise anyway
Interior Space
It's a miata, so again, don't expect loads of space. I'm 5"8' and I'm quite comfortable, but my 6"4' friend is squished, especially if I have to put the top up
Weather Versatility
It's more fun to drive with the top down. I live in CA, so I have it down 95% of the time. Driver side blind spot is pretty bad when top is up.
