It is 93 octane only but gets great gas mileage. On average about 35 mpg.

I bought a manual and the s model. It has twin turbos and plenty of power.

It drives like a go-cart for the street.

Interior Space
I have the two door model and even though it has four seats, my 9 year old struggles to get in and out of the rear seats. It is basically a two person car.

I can fit about to cases of bottle water in the trunk, but the rear seats fold down to fit more inside.

It is a bmw so it will cost more to maintain.

Brakes fast when needed without causing skid.

Powerful little car, acceleration is excellent. Available modes of economy, normal and sport enable you to select the power you need for your driving preference. Even in economy mode there is little noticeable drop in power. When in sport mode you can easily notice the extra power.

Handles very nicely, responds well and have had no issues. Has handled better than expected in winter weather.

Technology and Entertainment
For some reason this model of min has decided to allow bluetooth connectivity for phone calls but not for music and multimedia. Not the biggest deal but having to have a cable for music dangling in the cabin is a little annoying. The Harmon Karmon sound system is amazing though.
Cargo Space
The trunk space is tiny, but to be expected for such a Mini car, although you can turn down the back seat to give extra cargo room. The back seat is not very good for adults but should accommodate small children or dwarves.
Cost to Maintain
Routine maintenance costs are about average, but any repairs and parts are going to cost more than your average vehicle. Most of the parts have to be ordered from Germany and the cost can add up quick. The car is reliable though, and with good maintenance and care you should be fine.
