Great Starter EV 2017 Nissan Leaf

    Pros

    • Fuel Economy

Free from fossil fuels! (Most electricity where I live is as well)

Not a long hauler or a sports car. (But with a little planning you can get where you need)

Great first car 2017 Nissan Leaf

    Pros

    • Fuel Economy

No gas required, battery size is perfect for going around town or back and forth from work.

    • Value

One of the cheapest, newest cars you can get. Great value it bought used.

    • Reliability

Little to no upkeep required just charge and go.

    Cons

    • Ride and Handling

Car rides a little rough and pickup is a tad slow on eco mode.

    • Technology and Entertainment

Backup camera and Bluetooth is great but the battery is quite small and degrades quicker than other EV’s. Check battery health before you buy used

    • Seat Comfort

The back seats are raised so the head room is a lot less than the front. Good for kids but not for carpooling.

    • Technology and Entertainment

Not sure why a GPS system isn’t built into this model, since it is for earlier models.
