I notice it can get a bit loud when i am going on the freeway, but it's not too horribly loud.
Cost to Maintain
Since it is a smaller car, some of the parts can be a little more expensive. I just had to have a specialty tire ordered for a flat I had, and the oil changes can be quite expensive but you only need an oil change every 6 months or so.

Great gas mileage - it does have a tiny gas tank so if you're on a road trip, you will stop more than once a day to fill up.

If you fold the back seat down you have lots of room in the hatchback.
