Reliability
The Crosstrek affirms my belief in the Subaru brand, and I believe I'll be driving this car for MANY years to come
Value
The price point for return on investment, functionality, and reliability is fairly matched.
Power
It's not quite as zippy as I thought it would be; just something to get accustomed to after driving a V8 Hemi for 10 years.
Technology and Entertainment
There is a bit of feature/function overload in the beginning; the learning curve may be steep for some, but likely worthwhile/
Reliability
Subaru has very good reliability and safety figures.
Interior Space
Though compact, the Crosstrek seems quite roomy and well designed. Good cargo area, too. I like the CD player, too!
Value
The car is an excellent value. The car and I are becoming "good friends". Look forward to taking some day-trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway (NC & VA)!
Ride and Handling
I wanted manual transmission and am pleased with it overall; however, the shifting is a bit bumpy (not as smooth as previous cars). It isn't a big deal, and I am adjusting. This will not be relevant in the future since 2023 is the last year for manual transmission in Subarus. :-(
Ride and Handling
It is very fun to drive, especially with the manual transmission
Seat Comfort
Seats are very comfortable, even on long drives, and I am a tall big driver
Interior Space
The perfect size, not too big or small, and the hatchback makes it very roomy and practical.
Value
I paid more than it cost new, and other cars at a similar price point are more luxurious
Power
It is a bit underpowered, especially when turning onto an uphill road. Needs more power.
Cost to Maintain
insurance cost is high for some unknown reason
Interior Space
comfortable for driver and passengers
Styling
very handsome car!
Technology and Entertainment
no USB ports in the back seat, would be nice to have more in the front
Styling
inadequate cupholders in the back seat

Like the car. Do not like Car max did not take pictures of all areas where the car was restored, scratches and chips in the paint. Doesn’t let the buyer see everything shown on the website unless it’s in person. Informed workers to why it would not be pictured if over a dime size. Family friend recently checked out a jeep and had a mechanic check it out. He told her to get rid of it as soon as possible due to a list of issues that were also not reported. Makes you question your own car when you see visible defects that were not reported.
Ride and Handling
drives very nicely, feels like a bigger and better car, but without the cost
Fuel Economy
highest gas mileage of any car I own, at the cost of being by far the slowest.
Interior Space
very roomy, lots of cargo area
Power
almost gutless! but that was a known going in, and the fact that it has a manual transmission lets you get a lot more out of it when necessary than the alternative automatic would ever allow.
Dashboard
no gauges, just warning lights. No coolant temp, oil temp, oil pressure, or voltage gauges, let alone transmission temp, tire pressures, and other parameters accessible on my older cars (2012 and 2014) . None of those parameters are even accessible through the info center. Biggest letdown, and an indicator it’s not really meant for longevity.
Styling
it’s functional, not attractive.
