Pros

• Reliability

  400k miles is a common milestone for these. excited I have a vehicle for life (barring unforeseen events of course)

• Cost to Maintain

  Parts are so readily available and the engine is easy to get to when work is needed.

• Cargo Space

  ample room for lots of goodies, able to use the back seats AND have a bunch of things in the back

Cons

• Fuel Economy

  It’s a 5 speed automatic with a beefy V6, it’s not winning any awards for fuel economy lol

• Technology and Entertainment

  Apple Car Play and Android Auto are great, but the technology compared to others in its class, it’s “lacking” but I will say, to me that means less to break.

• Cabin Noise

  It’s not meant to be a road cruiser, so this wasn’t a priority for me anyway.

  I RENTED AND SR5P WHEN MY 2013 JGC HAD ISSUES DEEMING IT UNSAFE FOR ROAD TRIPS AND WAS AMAZED AT THE ADDED CARGO AREA OVER THE JEEP. FIT 2 DOGS, OUR LUGGAGE, DOG GATES AND BIKING GEAR WITHOUT MUCH MORE EASILY THAN IN THE JEEP

• Visibility

  CANNOT FIND MUCH OF ANY BLIND SPOTS AND THE SIDE SWIPE INDICATORS HELP TOO

• Cost to Maintain

  THUS FAR IN 2 YRS OWNERSHIP, OIL/FILTER CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATE BALANCE 2X - WHICH IS AN ISSUE WITH THE YOKOHOMAS I INSTALLED AFTERMARKET B/C I HATED THE DRIFTING AND LACK OF TRACTION ON THE OEM BRIDEGESTONE DUELER TIRES.

• Cabin Noise

  DOORS FEEL THIN AND THE INTERIOR IS SUPER NOISY. ALWAYS FEELS LIKE A WINDOW IS DOWN B/C OF HOW MUCH SOUND ENTERS THE CABIN.

• Seat Comfort

  MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SEATS I HAVE EVER SAT ON IN ANY VEHICLE. FEELS LIKE BOARDS UNDER THE DRIVER.

• Power

  NOT THE MOST GUSTO WHEN PUSHING PEDAL TO METAL

  Smooth ride and great visibility.

  Some noise comes from the engine when warming up that my previous vehicle didn't have.

  Easy transition of rear seats. Tons of room for fishing gear or hauling almost anything.

  Rides better than our Lexus Rx350. Plenty of power when needed. Love the heat and air floe and controls.

  It's not a gas hog but @~20mpg it's not great either.

  Seat are very comfortable and eat to set the seat control. Love the AC and’s heated seat. Does great on long trips

  Inexpensive to service and never needs repairs.
