this 4Runner is stock and I took it fishing today driving over 700 miles and it averaged almost 20mpg. these were highway miles and had an elevation gain of over 5000 feet and weather was about 34 F for most of the trip. I know that when I lift my car and put larger tires the milage will drop but until then it is a joy to drive.
Cabin Noise
this car with stock suspension and tires is very quiet and handles the road very easily. I drove over 800 miles today fishing and I was not worn out from the drive.
Interior Space
I love having more room
Visibility
Great visibility while driving and lots of nice safety features
Seat Comfort
seats are comfortable adjustable in both front seats have heat and cooling system
Fuel Economy
fuel mileage is not the greatest
Power
he doesn’t have a lot of power to get up and go quickly
Ride and Handling
Does great in snow and ice, great traction and stability even with road tires
Cabin Noise
Very Quiet ride even at highway speeds
Interior Space
Great leg room in front and rear, decent leg room in 3rd row. Plenty of headspace and plenty of storage.

Pretty low Gas mileage for a Toyota built vehicle
Power
It sounds and feels like it’s very powerful.
Reliability
400k miles is a common milestone for these. excited I have a vehicle for life (barring unforeseen events of course)
Cost to Maintain
Parts are so readily available and the engine is easy to get to when work is needed.
Cargo Space
ample room for lots of goodies, able to use the back seats AND have a bunch of things in the back
Fuel Economy
It’s a 5 speed automatic with a beefy V6, it’s not winning any awards for fuel economy lol
Technology and Entertainment
Apple Car Play and Android Auto are great, but the technology compared to others in its class, it’s “lacking” but I will say, to me that means less to break.
Cabin Noise
It’s not meant to be a road cruiser, so this wasn’t a priority for me anyway.
Cargo Space
I RENTED AND SR5P WHEN MY 2013 JGC HAD ISSUES DEEMING IT UNSAFE FOR ROAD TRIPS AND WAS AMAZED AT THE ADDED CARGO AREA OVER THE JEEP. FIT 2 DOGS, OUR LUGGAGE, DOG GATES AND BIKING GEAR WITHOUT MUCH MORE EASILY THAN IN THE JEEP
Visibility
CANNOT FIND MUCH OF ANY BLIND SPOTS AND THE SIDE SWIPE INDICATORS HELP TOO
Cost to Maintain
THUS FAR IN 2 YRS OWNERSHIP, OIL/FILTER CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATE BALANCE 2X - WHICH IS AN ISSUE WITH THE YOKOHOMAS I INSTALLED AFTERMARKET B/C I HATED THE DRIFTING AND LACK OF TRACTION ON THE OEM BRIDEGESTONE DUELER TIRES.
Cabin Noise
DOORS FEEL THIN AND THE INTERIOR IS SUPER NOISY. ALWAYS FEELS LIKE A WINDOW IS DOWN B/C OF HOW MUCH SOUND ENTERS THE CABIN.
Seat Comfort
MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SEATS I HAVE EVER SAT ON IN ANY VEHICLE. FEELS LIKE BOARDS UNDER THE DRIVER.
Power
NOT THE MOST GUSTO WHEN PUSHING PEDAL TO METAL
Ride and Handling
Smooth ride and great visibility.
Cabin Noise
Some noise comes from the engine when warming up that my previous vehicle didn't have.
Cargo Space
Easy transition of rear seats. Tons of room for fishing gear or hauling almost anything.
