Visibility
I love that I can see all of what is going on around me on the road.
Braking
Stops right now!
Interior Space
Comfortable for adults and family.
Fuel Economy
About 14-16 mpg.
Dashboard
Dashboard is difficult to read quickly when I'm driving.
Ride and Handling
Truck-like but still comfortable.
Cargo Space
I immediately tested out the cargo spaciousness because I needed to scrap a huge car engine. Needed a forklift to get it back out. (Plan ahead)
Reliability
I sit pretty knowing I'm in a Toyota.
Weather Versatility
Through huge snow storms no problem. There's so much aftermarket support, you can make it go even further through many different types of obstacles.
Technology and Entertainment
I'd rather have no touch screen or anything fancy, but it had me at simple dial temperature controls.
Seat Comfort
Front seats need to be adjusted perfectly, but after that you'll be getting great thoracic and lumbar support. (Not being facetious)
Power
Only 4L, but that's why I got it. No Cummins, but if you are a habitual speeder it stays economic.
Reliability
Toyotas are reliable in general. Well-built engine.
Styling
Doesn't look like a cross-over SUV which is a plus especially when switching from a pickup truck. Back hatch window goes down which is a plus.
Ride and Handling
Has a rugged look compared to most SUVs, but still handles smoothly. You feel like you're sitting up high in this vehicle.
Power
This is my biggest complaint about the 4Runner. Acceleration is slow and lags compared to other SUVs such as the Durango or even Highlander. Also, not much of a turn radius.
Interior Space
This model does not have 3rd row seating which can be a disappointment for families that need more seating.
Reliability
reliable, made sturdy, strong
Weather Versatility
Fuel Economy
low but acceptable — it’s a heavy vehicle
Technology and Entertainment
Reliability
This car is always 100% reliable
Styling
Love the new look.
Weather Versatility
Great in all weather conditions.
Styling
Can’t take my eyes off of it
Power
Bought it with the TRD cold air intake. Anything but disappointed.
Technology and Entertainment
Crawl control is a great addition and there are just enough to assist, but not so many that you feel like robots are taking over the world.
Ride and Handling
Turning radius isn’t great
Fuel Economy
If you don’t like gas stations, stick to a hybrid or something
Ride and Handling
Cost to Maintain

I’ve owned many Toyota’s and they are well built and dependable in every sense of the word!
Cargo Space
great sized cargo area a wonderfully capable tow vehicle!
Dashboard
the dash board layout and color scheme at night is stellar! true luxurious feel!
Fuel Economy
It’s not overly fuel efficient but that’s not why you buy it.
Styling
Weather Versatility
As a Colorado native... we get a lot of storms.. this thing is a BEAST in the snow
Technology and Entertainment
Again the radio issue, it’s minor but my research shows there’s not a quick fix
Fuel Economy
Driving 350mi a week... this vehicle definitely blows through gas.. I’m easily dropping $200 a month on gas
