Pros

• Ride and Handling

  The 86 punches well above its price range in terms of steering feel and body control. Where it may lack in comfort, it makes up for it in spades in its ability to carve corners like a precision tool.

• Value

  It’s hard to find many other cars at this relatively low price point that offer this much fun. For the price of an economy car, you get a smile on your face on even the most boring drives.

• Styling

  I get compliments on my 86 all the time.

Cons

• Cabin Noise

  Wind noise, tire noise, random rattles here and there. The engine doesn’t sound all that great, either.

• Technology and Entertainment

  I don’t care much about infotainment, but people looking for tech in a car should look for the higher-end models or the BRZ. This infotainment is pretty basic with bluetooth functionality only.

• Interior Space

  Only put people you hate in the back. Or children. No one fits.
