I commute 90 miles a day in it. At first I was using regular grade fuel 87 octane and mileage was good , 40 mpg on the highway. But the past month I have been using mid grade 89 octane and wow! I am averaging 39-40 mpg per tank! The performance is smoother. I gained a quarter tank per week per fill up.

I have the V6 3.5 L all gas engine. It drives and handles excellent with plenty of power for passing on interstate. Rides smooth and fun to drive. Less road noise than my husband's 2013 Highlander.

I knew that a V6 3.5 L engine would use more than a 4 cylinder. So this is not a surprise. So most of the time I drive in the ECO mode help mitigate this.
