Good SUV w/ Great Off-Road Features 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser

      Pros

      • Styling

Only 2,500 made for the US so this unit is unique and defiantly turns heads. With its solid Cement Gray color (no white roof) it even looks different from typical FJs on the road. For a true 4x4 the FJ looks good inside an out.

      • Ride and Handling

Again this is not a luxury SUV,! It will not ride like a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a Ford Explore, but for a true 4x4 it handles the pavement pretty good. It has a smoothish ride and feels solid on the road. If you want to feel the real ride and handling you need to take off-road.

      • Reliability

Before I purchased the FJ researched this engine and found out this is proven engine in the FJ and offers great reliability. In addition Toyota has a mostly good reputation of be a dependable car manufacture. Better than a Jeep.

      Cons

      • Visibility

If your researching this car then you know this isn't a new topic for the FJ. Yea it has big side pillars and yea it has big blind spots, but if your used to using your mirrors while you drive then it's not a deal breaker at all! Don't teach your kids to drive with the FJ,

      • Value

My only complaint with the FJ - VALUE. For what you pay for a Trail Teams edition you can pick up a really nice SUV. Then again you need to think down the road, would you be happy 5 yrs down the road with an everyday SUV? I wouldn't be.
