Value
This is one of, if not the lowest priced hybrid that I’ve heard of.
Fuel Economy
Even though it is less expensive then the other Prii, it still gets amazing gas mileage. I’ve gotten an average MP/G of 60 on my 40 mile commute to work. It does really well cruising around 60-65 and even better in traffic.
Reliability
We have driven the car in the rain, snow, heat, and cold for almost 10k miles now and no mechanical issues whatsoever.
Cabin Noise
The noise dampening in the car isn’t very good. You can here the tires on the road. Personally, I enjoy it, but I know that a lot of people don’t like that kind of thing. I’d blame it on the low price tag, but hey, I’d say it’s definitely still worth it.
Ride and Handling
The handling is completely fine. Turns on a dime. The ride, however, is stiff and the car is fairly low to the ground. So watch out for bumps and potholes, and try to keep it slow and steady over speed bumps.
Power
Being a hybrid, this car is NOT built for speed. It is slow for a reason: acceleration is where cars use the most gas. So it makes sense that the Prius C has very slow acceleration. It took a little getting used to but now I really don’t mind it.
