Reliable Well Kept '17 Rav4 Ltd 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Pros

  • Technology and Entertainment

Keeps me from locking it with out proper procedures. Warns me of potential problems

  • Fuel Economy

    Fuel MPG between 32 & 36 MPG

Cons

  • Interior Space

Prior owner had scraped driver side window shading

Everyone should own a Toyota Hybrid 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Pros

  • Braking

brakes last 10s of thousands of miles longer than gas only vehicles because of the majority of stopping force being handled by the regenerative friction in the electric motors to recharge the hybrid battery

  • Cost to Maintain

fewer parts to potentially replace (hybrids have no alternators or starters). coolant is easy to drain and refill, transmission and rear differential is easy to drain and refill (no transmission flushes required) and other than oil changes, there's really nothing else that requires maintenance

  • Fuel Economy

when weather conditions are warm enough, I can see 45mpg for a moderate distance trip. averages around 38. can't beat that for an SUV

Cons

  • Value

I'd say the only con to purchasing a hybrid is that they are initially more expensive. but in the grand scheme of things between reliability, low maintenance costs, and less money on fuel, you eventually come out way ahead

Great fuel economy for all wheel drive! 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Pros

  • Fuel Economy

    Gas prices are high

  • Reliability

  • Power

Awesome with gas and electric combined!

Cons

  • Interior Space

The RAV4 was a great reduction in the space we used to have in our Toyota Sienna minivan. We will miss that aspect!

Cons

Great Car, Great Fuel Mileage 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

    Pros

    • Fuel Economy

35 - 38 MPG around town. 30-31 on a trip. My gasoline powered 2013 got about 65% of that.

    • Ride and Handling

Does well nearly everywhere. I even take it off roading on some pretty rough places. It is perfectly adequate around town and on the highway.

    • Reliability

Rav4s rarely have problems. I've had none with this one.

    Cons

    • Seat Comfort

Seats are narrow and hard. I have a thin memory foam cushion and it corrects the problem.

Conservative and Comfortable 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

    Pros

    • Ride and Handling

The ride is extremely comfortable and the handling is awesome. Tight and responsive

    • Fuel Economy

The best fuel economy I've experienced in a while. Excellent range, perfect for our road trip escapes.

    • Interior Space

Very spacious and very comfortable. A joy to drive on long trips

    Cons

    • Styling

Decent styling but still pretty plain
