Pros

• Reliability

  This is my third Toyota and they have never let me down. Extremely dependable cars

• Interior Space

  I can comfortably get five adults in this car with no problem. Luggage space is good and when I lower the back seats it's amazing how much stuff you can get in, i.e. furniture, luggage, lots of shopping bags,...

• Seat Comfort

  Drivers seat is adjustable so that you don't get uncomfortable during long drives. Mine has heated and cooled seats, which is great! Cold or hot days are no longer an issue.

Cons

• Cabin Noise

  There is a rattle in the rear hatch that has been reported by multiple users. They say it is due to "hard plastic connectors" but so far my local dealer hasn't been able to find source. Just annoying but causes no function problem.

  I don't like the Auto shutdown when you stop. Other than that I love the other features!

  it rides much nicer than the Camry I had previously.

  The fuel economy. exceeds what I got with the 2011 Camry I had previously.

  I still need to figure this all out. I have the radio set on the station I mainly listen to.

  when I got the car it was set on a graph to show economy. I was switching it around to see what else was available & cannot get the graph back. Not a big deal, just one of those things.

  I want to shut off the tracking of my car & cannot figure out how. It just seems like an invasion of privacy.

  I do wish the side mirrors were connected to the defrosters. I have to get out and wipe them off on mornings with a lot of dew.

  Simple but still has all the bells and whistles of a post-2020 car. Sleek and intuitive, slightly rugged, and easy to clean.

• Fuel Economy

  I’ve been able to drive to my hometown which is 250 miles away and not need to refuel until I head home a few days later. This car saves me a lot of money on gas!

• Reliability

  This is my 3rd RAV4. My former RAV was t boned in an accident and I walked away with just a few bruises. My previous RAV made it to 250,000 miles on only oil changes and one tire replacement. This is the optimal vehicle for people who don’t want to go to the repair shop.

Cons

  I’ve had cars that can accelerate quicker than this RAV, although it’s not something that would cause a safety or major performance issue.

• Styling

  While the trim level and customization that the used model I purchased was nice and what I wanted, most RAVs come with gray startex plastic seats and you’ll be hard pressed to find a black exterior + black faux leather interior. At the end of the day these are nothing to write home about, but certain trim levels and packages add some extra oomph.
