  I am averaging 40 mpg. My 08 Sienna could barely get 20 mpg.

  Steering is really tight. The car is smooth over the road. Great turning radius.

  This car is so flexible. I can carry 7 people or 12 deck boards.

  The 3rd row does not gold as flat as the one in my 08. It may be where the hybrid batteries are.

  As an eco-conscious person, I could not buy a vehicle with worse fuel economy than my previous. But with a third kid on the way…Toyota has been doing hybrid a long time, so this is a reliable choice.

• Interior Space

  Nooks and spaces for all the things. Particularly love the ‘purse nook’ under the middle front console. Also the kids can’t touch each other, iykyk.

• Ride and Handling

  As maneuverable as my previous vehicle, a small SUV. Ride is smooth as butter. I was so surprised by the test drive. If you’re anti-minivan, you’ve got to give it a try, you may just fall in love!

  I selected this con only because there is no right lane switch camera and I find the backup camera is not as good as in my previous vehicle. However the warning indicators work well as a substitute.
