Reliability
You just can’t beat the reliability of Toyota products. I found this truck with only 13,500+ miles on a 2017 vehicle.

Reliability
Anyone that knows anything about cars/trucks knows that Toyota is king when it comes to reliability.
Ride and Handling
It’s a comfortable ride for commuting and I can park anywhere a car would. It’s off road capable and gets small jobs done with no problem.
Cost to Maintain
Tacomas are everywhere and are affordable to maintain and repair.
Cargo Space
Not a deal breaker for me because of what my requirements are but I can see how its a problem for some people. I don’t have a need for a ton of cargo space.
Fuel Economy
I feel like the fuel economy could be better but I already knew I wasn’t going to see the best numbers beforehand. Researching ahead of time does wonders.
Seat Comfort
I’m 5’9” and don’t have a complaint with the seat comfort but it’s a common complaint amongst taller owners. Seat risers are a modification that will help with this so it’s not really a con.
Cargo Space
plenty of room in the truck bed. easily carry full sized sheets of plywood if you use the built in grooves with some 2x6s.
Styling
it’s a 3rd gen Tacoma. it looks great. my wife loves me more now 🤪
Reliability
haven't really had it long enough to comment but its a truck with about 100k miles. it runs great and I expect to get it to at least 200 with no major issues
Fuel Economy
meh, 20 isn’t terrible for a truck but it’s not great for a 4 cylinder engine. if I drove more than 5k miles a year I would have gone for the v6 and been happy with 18-19 mpg
Power
i have the straight 4 engine. I did once struggle to pass a vintage vehicle going 30 on a hilly mountain road. I would have needed 30 seconds or so of no oncoming traffic.
Cabin Noise
you can hear every detail of the wind when you’re on the interstate
Reliability
The reliability of Toyota keeps your mind at ease. Maintenance is easy. The Tacoma is the perfect midsize truck out there with so many features and proven to last a long time.
Ride and Handling
I have the 2wd model and I gotta say I’ve been through big bear, mammoth, Big Sur, in the desert, and it does absolutely amazing! I’ve gone through trails that should have needed 4wd but my truck with 2wd did just fine. The Tacoma really can do it all! The suspension is very smooth and comfortable driving on the road.
Technology and Entertainment
Heated seats, sunroof, AC 400w outlets, JBA sound system, blind spot monitors are amazing, back seats fold down and give you a slot for the headrests to go when putting cargo inside the truck. 6ft bed is amazing! Toyota security alarm system. Wireless charger which works not only for phones but for my snap-on led flash light. I really like the parking sensors. The rear window slides open automatically with a window switch which is very convenient. Maintenance checklist/monitor app on the display screen where you can track all your maintenance and keep everything up to date, as well as keeping me aware of when maintenance is needed or coming soon.
Interior Space
I have the double cab (4 door) and I will admit the rear seats are a bit snug for those taller people, however for my family that’s not an issue but that is a Con. Not much leg room in the back seats. Front seats have plenty of room!
Value
I like the V6 power. I like the extra cab and 6 foot bed,
Cabin Noise
It is a little big for me. It just fits in my garage. A bigger truck like Tundra will not fit in my garage.
