Interior Space
This is a huge car — especially with the captain’s seats, it feels like a small room. It’s very convenient to access the back seats.
Ride and Handling
It may be a big SUV, but it drives like a comfy sedan — great pickup and super smooth on the road!
Power
It’s got a powerful V6 engine but runs super smooth and quiet. Feels like a sports car to drive, with the comfort and luxury of a high-end ride.
Cargo Space
The cargo space is a little tighter than I’d like when the third row is in use.
Fuel Economy
It is a gas guzzler, but considering it’s a large SUV with a V6, it’s still more efficient than many comparable vehicles.
Cost to Maintain
I haven’t had to do much maintenance yet, but I think upkeep for this car will be a bit on the higher side.

Value
Vw out did its self with this car. it is spacious and family oriented. the value on it is not pricy and at the same time you get all the bells and whistles others big named brands don’t get for that price.
Technology and Entertainment
the entertainment system is by Fender which plays great and the sure and is amazing
Ride and Handling
the atlas drives and handles amazing
Fuel Economy
with the atlas being AWD it does waste alittle bit more fuel then expected.
Interior Space
As a mom of 4, I did not want to go the minivan route, the atlas has so much room and is so nice looking!
Braking
very noisy breaks
Reliability
Vehicle has been very reliable, no issues to mention
Fuel Economy
better than expected for a vehicle this size and with this engine config. Have been averaging from 23 to 26mpg
Braking
factory pad material is noisy at time when stopping under 10mph, dealer confirmed this is normal with the oem pads.
Seat Comfort
So this car gave me great leg room. We are over 5'9 in this home and I have a brother that visits that is 6'4". No matter if you are in the front seat or back seat you have lots of leg room.. More so than any car I was trying in that size group. We haven't tried leg room on the 3rd row, just talking about front seats and the ones behind it. It's also made of steel I believe, so I can actually put magnet bumper stickers on it and it feels like a really big car. Took a second to get used to it from a Nissan Murano. My sister liked mine so much she went and got a VW Taos.
Interior Space
Amazing space covered in my "seat comfort" review.
Fuel Economy
Gas mileage isn't great but I can deal with that. The ease of closing the hatch isn't super easy when you are in the car. If someone is putting something in my car I often just ask them to push the button on the hatch for me.
Styling
I'm not in love with the leather seating. Its not a solid leather and has these tiny pin holes in that food gets stuck in easily.
Interior Space
Useful 3rd for occasional extra passengers, with middle seats that tip forward for access even with child car seats attached.
Reliability
So far no issues
Technology and Entertainment
All the tech I require, heated seats, Apple CarPlay, lots of USBC ports
Fuel Economy
Fuel economy is not amazing

Interior Space
I’m 6’2”/320# and I fit very comfortably. Even with the driver seat all the way back, the 2nd row has plenty of leg room as well.
Cargo Space
with the 3rd row down, there is a tremendous amount of cargo room.
Styling
it a sharp looking vehicle.
