  I like the auto tailgate lift with just a wave of your foot. I also appreciate that thought was put into the height of the tailgate when opened and that it is adjustable (thanks to hints from user forum)

  Cell phone calls are clear.

  I was a little concerned in that the car recommends premium gas and with AWD it wouldn't be as efficient as my 2005 Ford Focus. Not to worry - about same MPG but a little more expensive when filling up.

  XC 40 is still roomy enough in front seats as well as back seats. Cargo space is plenty big for several pieces of luggage.

  I have already had to replace right strut within the first week of driving. Car Max was very helpful in resolving the issue promptly.

  Volvo is known for safety and reliability, and this XC40 does not disappoint! Everything works just as it should!

  The ride is smooth and it handles like a champ. It feels like a luxury car in spite of being one of Volvo least expensive models.

  I get 450+ miles from each tank of gas. It is the most fuel efficient care I have ever owned!

  Seats adjust automatically to your preferences once you program it (you can set different profiles for different drives) and the seat heaters are great

  Poor city mileage. Pretty reasonable highway mileage for a small SUV. The gas take is notably fairly small

  It is very smooth handling and takes curves with ease.

• Dashboard

  I like the display and the ability to change the screen to observe other issues. the ability to see what is currently activated is a big help plus speed signs and digital speedometer.

  I used to pay more than 45 dollars to fill up my old car, this one under 30 to fill and it lasts longer and I can go farther on a tank of Gas
