Looks better than a minivan, not as versatile.

Bought this car used with low miles needing a smaller alternative to my Expedition without losing too much hauling capacity. Decided to get the Pacifica over my personal favorite, the uncool minivan. I like the overall look of the car, exterior is rather stylish without being flashy. The interior is clean cut, kids love the rear individual seat, everyone has a window. There is not as much cargo room space as I thought. Can only fit a few items in the back without folding down the rear seats. Rides well, could use a bit more power and there is a blind spot in the rear corners but otherwise no complaints. Despite the comparisons, this car cannot replace a minivan if that is truly what you need.

Family Car

I have enjoyed driving this car. I'm 6'1" and I actually have enough leg room in the passenger seat behind my driver's seat. The second row seats lean back for great comfort while watching the DVD on long drives. The car drives very smoothly and provides a quiet ride. The seats are very comfortable. The seats howevever do not seem to be made with a material that will last two young children. The material on the seating has seemed to loosen a little. As far as drivability, the car's highway speed and acceleration suits me very well. The car drives at high speeds without hesitation. I can't tell I'm going 10/15 miles over the speed limit, at times. The only problem I've noticed is with the braking. When I brake at times the car feels as though it jerks to a stop, very unbalanced. The storage is more than adequate when only transporting two passengers in the back. However, my son prefers to sit in the back and this limits the storage considerably. With the third row up, you only have enough storage for about one small suitcase and some jackets, maybe three bookbags. We are pleased with the space, though, because the third row seats can fold down separately or together, depending on your needs. My family loves this versitality. My wife and I immensely enjoy the dual air condition controls. In our old car we could never agree on the temperature. Now, she has her own temperature control eliminating our previous battle over the air. Other things I like about the Pacifica are the back up sensors that warn of objects within hitting range, the several cup holders, the great small storage for glasses, papers, etc, and the roominess of the inside cabin. I still haven't gotten used to not being able to see the curbs as you get close to them. Overall, this has been a great car for my family. I would recommend it and am very curious about how it's changed in the years post 2007.

Great Automobile. Nothing else like it!

We love it! What a great ride. Now BMW, Porsche, and Audi are trying to keep up at 2-3 times the price..
