Was hooked on smaller hatchbacks for many years, as they are so practical. But after having to search for a newer model, and many test drives, we were unsatisifed. Then this was our pick because it is a luxury car but sort of like an oversized hatchback. Yet it is not too long and easy to park in urban areas; still we can cart bicycles and larger items around easily. It has all the luxury features of BMW. We were fortunate to find one that has real leather, heated seats and no sunroof too, all of which we were seeking. We live in the hot desert and the light leather color, and solid roof keeps the car cooler. Love the newer transmission - very efficient; plus the car has a turbo-4 with 2 wheel rear drive, so the fuel costs are really low.

Cargo Space: for a short car this has lots of cargo capacity
Seat Comfort: very adjustable memory seats, very comfortable for long road trip
