I previously owned the SRX 2010 with a 3 liter engine and it struggled to accelerate. The 2012 SRX has a 3.6 liter engine. What a difference ! Love this SRX, a pleasure to drive, many nice features and among the best looking cars around. It gets plenty of head turns. Heavy and solidly engineered and handles beautifully. Very happy with this Caddy!!
Horrible engineering and high maintenance cost

V8 AWD model.
The mechanical engineering of this vehicle and component placement is simple awful. Combine that with overpriced parts and you're in for a maintenance nightmare. I always work on my own vehicles, but this car simply kicked my behind. Under 100K, the following items went bad, incomplete list:
Both front engine mounts $1200 to replace - need to remove exhaust manifold to get to them. Radiator distribution hose $250. Coolant tank $150. HID headlight lamp $100 each + 2 hours in labor (entire front end needs to come apart). Engine coolant temperature sensor - need to drop transmission to get to. Thermostat. A/C blend door actuator. Can't rotate tires, so front wears out way too fast. Battery dies if car sits for over 5 days.

Sporty ride. Easy to drive. Super visibility. Plenty of legroom in front & back seats. Large cargo area. Sexy styling & color combinations. AWD for all weather! Advanced stereo, navigation & CD/DVD player systems. As a sexy senior citizen, my wife & I enjoy taking 4 of our adult friends out to dinner in our Cadillac SRX.
Lots of eager shoppers may be surprised to know that many of the features found on some of the latest 2018 vehicles are already available on newer used cars. Here’s a breakdown of some of these cool features.
