As a full time traveler I get to drive many different brand new cars over the years. From driving experience in multi states as well as cars I found the Impala to the be the best equipped and designed both inside and out. All I had to do was find the right color/package I was looking for.
There's a reason the 2014-2017 Impala is one of the hugest rated large sedans. Great styling, unbelievably roomy, super interior quality, Boise sound system. The V6 engine is quiet and very quick. Handling and smoothness on the road is better than my 2015 Mercedes. Most bang for your buck on the market.
Very reliable and well built car. Drives very smoothly and gas pedal is responsive and not hard to push compared to older models. Very fun to drive and car shifts smoothly through the gears and gets up to speed quickly. Innovative technology has improved the gas mileage a lot if your easy on the gas pedal the car can switch to 3 cylinders coasting to save gas and all the interior options are fantastic including the Bose audio system which can increase volume due to driving noise as needed. Very safe care from the design and all the way to the on star which can call help if a crash is detected or can even unlock your car or send turn by turn directions to your car. The Impala LTZ is great fully loaded remote start even though it heats up fas
The iconic Chevrolet Impala emerged with immediate positive sentiment from drivers, whose praise has built the vehicle's solid reputation today. As Chevrolet's flagship sedan, the Chevy Impala lives up to its history - its performance, control, and comfort ensure this sedan remains popular into the new century.
For more than half a century, the Chevrolet Impala stands as an iconic car - it earned the title of best-selling car in America in the 1960's. Chevy's flagship sedan has seen almost 10 generations over its lifespan. Throughout its storied history, the sedan has served as an upscale vehicle with a recognizable, elegant appearance. Sleek, clean exterior lines continued throughout each generation. As it enters into the 21st century, the core values have remained a part of its steadfast build with priorities in performance, features, and affordability. The current generation (its ninth) began in 2006.
Though the performance leaves critics saying there's a bit more power to be desired, there are few faults in the driving experience. The iconic car has good control, gas mileage even for older vehicles. The exterior remains traditional while the interior has changed to be more accommodating to passengers in recent years. The spacious, sleek, and sporty vehicle performs well when equipped with a V6 engine. Handling and comfort are balanced as well.
More recent Impalas still retain a lot of value, with handling emphasized over performance. The cars maintain strong reliability, despite the mileage of older vehicles, and ensure a good purchase in many models from the 21st century. With many Impalas sold over the past few decades, some cars stand as simply collector cars while others are decidedly sportier and more driveable for daily use. In particular, buyers seeking a full-size, front-wheel-drive family sedan should look at the current generation built after 2006.
Chevrolet produces current generation Impalas as full-size, front-wheel-drive sedans with impressive fuel economy, good space, and style to boot. Chevy offers the Impala with two engines - the 3.5L V6 and the 3.9L V6 engine, which ensures recent models will drive well around town. Though they may struggle to standout with highway speeds, fuel efficiency remains impressive. The current generation incorporates minor cosmetic changes, modern, standard equipment like Bluetooth capabilities, and newly standard alloy wheels.
