Looks, maneuverability, power.
I recently purchased a 2008 Honda S2000. I have wanted one since they came out in 2000 but due to family circumstances, I had to delay purchase until now. I wanted a convertible sports car but wanted a reliable and low maintenance one. I know that there are many choices in this class but after looking at reliability, value, and maintenance costs, the S2000 was the obvious choice. I waited 10 year to purchase this car and, boy, was it worth the wait. The S2000 is a true sports car in every sense of the word. Styling: Exterior styling is classic with the long hood and short rump, it looks fast even when standing still. The interior is a no nonsense quality environment that is geared totally with the driving experience in mind. It is a bit snug but I don't consider that a bad thing, especially when carving twisty country roads. Performance: Performance-wise, it is a beast waiting to be unleashed. If you drive it with RPMs under 6k, it is a tame little roadster. If you dare go above 6k RPMs, be prepared for your head to snap back as it rips forward with abandon. Features: It has all of the usual safety features such as airbags, traction control (can be turned off), tire pressure monitoring system, and a whole host of great features that makes this a great choice for both fun and safety. Crash safety ratings are about the best in this class. On top of all that great appearance, interior, features, and performance, it is a convertible to boot. The convertible top only operates when the e-brake is on but raises rather quickly. Snap (or unsnap) the two side latches and watch it raise (or lower) and you are good to go. I have driven mine with the top down about 95% of the time. Love it! I wanted Chicane silver exterior color with a red leather interior however, that color combination was really hard to find. I had to settle for black leather interior (with red stitching). Still love it, though.
If you like sports cars this is the car for you
