This is my 5th Jaguar. My first was a 1977 Jaguar XJL, so I can confidently tell you I am an expert on Jaguar.
After about 1990, Jaguar became very reliable, but as with any car, of course you might have a small problem occasionally.
I saved and saved and I wanted to buy myself a new Jaguar. Why a Jaguar? Just sit in one….and then drive one. THERE IS NO OTHER CAR IN THE WORLD THAT DRIVES AND FEELS LIKE A JAG. Period!
I went to my local Jaguar dealer to look at the latest models. I drove an E-Pace SE and I was blown away hot it felt, how it handled, and how it looked.
Next, I did a lot of research on the different models of the E-Pace. Range Rover and Jaguar have a Top of the line model called the HSE. It. has the finest quality and best of the best of everything they offer from inside out, top to bottom of the car. On top of that, the HSE, has the Racing version which offers several different improvements and driving modes, as well as more horsepower.
It is not easy to find an HSE, but it is absolutely positively hands down worth it to buy it.
The interior is mind blowing comfortable and beautiful.
I feel very safe driving it as it has every safety feature available, there are no blind spots, and it has great visibility.
I am a big guy, and it is very spacious inside. The seats are amazing in comfort and it has every adjustment you can think of. Once you have your seat and mirrors adjusted, you simply save it into memory and when you turn off the car, the seat lowers and adjust to easily get out and back in. When you start the car, it automatically returns the seat and mirrors to your favorite setting. That type of smart thinking is applied to every detail of the car.
The exterior is sleek and gorgeous and it stands out from anything else out there. It is still amazing to me that anywhere I go I get stopped by strangers telling me how beautiful my car is and they have never seen anything like it. That’s not at all the reason I bought it, but it’s still warm and fuzzy to know I have something I love, and other people see it as beautiful and unique as well.
The E-Pace is fast, it handles and corners exceptionally well, and it still gets me 21 mpg in the city.
Drawbacks or weaknesses? The only drawback is minimal room for large adults in the back seat. I rarely ever have people in the back seat so it’s not an issue for me. I prefer the compactness and agility of the E-Pace over their larger version called the F-Pace, but if you often are taking adult passengers with long legs in the rear seat, perhaps the F-Pace would be a better choice for you.
I chose the Jaguar Mars Red interior despite my initial apprehension. I thought I would never want a Red interior…..until I saw it and drove in it. I knew immediately it was so beautiful and it was different from anyone else. For instance, if you look at any BMW, they all look the same and they are so common that you see them everywhere. Same with Mercedes Benz, Acura, Lexus, Porsche and other manufacturers.
After years of owning it, I still get in my E-Pace every single day with a big smile, and so excited to drive it. It is so much fun to drive! It is so comfortable!
There is no better car to drive and to sit inthan a Jaguar.
Lastly, I have had zero problems other than a windshield replaced.
Jaguars come with a 5 YEAR ALL MAINTENANCE AND PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY!
Think about that for a minute. I have never paid for anything, not even oil changes. If or when you do need to take your Jaguar in for service, the dealership is really nice people who care about you and your car and they actually take care of you and your car with none of the nonsense you are used to at any other dealership.
As for pricing, it’s a bit more than your regular brand comparable compact SUV’s, but a lot less than an esoteric brand without having to compromise any of the qualityPros
- Ride and Handling: The best handling SUV out there. It is so much fun to drive b
Cons
- Interior Space: Rear seats are super comfortable, but not a lot of legroom for big adults if front seats are fully reclined.
Great driving car and feels great
